Found Dorso's on Yelp, where there were many favorable reviews. I wanted to find a place that had history with Honda's, and for more than oil changes.I asked that my wife's 2001 Acccord be thoroughly evaluated prior to our move out of state. We had been told the transmissson needed to be replaced, and I was prepared for news that other systems would be in need of costly repair. All of this to help me decide whether to keep the car or not.Rick and his team spent many hours going over the car, and sent it to an associate for transmission evaluation. The report was that while the transmission was indeed slipping, it was minor and the car was completely safe to drive. The recommendation was to note if the slippage worsened, but otherwise repair was not required at this time.Oil was found on the outside of the oil pan, and after cleaning around, and replacing the cheap, filter, the car was driven to see whether there was leakage from the oil pan. I will return for a final look in a week or so to see if that work is needed.There were plenty other checks made, but nothing major was needed. The car was deemed be in good shape and expected to go another 100k miles or more.I did give Rick time to dig into all aspects of the vehicle's health. I am totally satisfied he left no stone unturned, and am now secure in knowing this car will be with us for a long time to come.Yelp helped me find Dorso's, and Rick made me feel like I was an important customer. I have no doubt that he is like this with everyone. I highly recommend Dorso's for major as well as minor repair.

After an unpleasant experience at the short lived Fremont Subaru dealership, my neighbor recommended Dorsos'. I'm so glad I took the advice.Dorsos has been servicing our cars for approximately 12 years. (My husband owns a 98' Ford Explorer). My husband and I each take care of our own car transactions including purchase, maintenance and finance decisions. I've never gotten the classic mechanic "attitude" from Dorsos'. They treat us both equally.When my 1999 Subaru begin to suffer from overheating, Dorsos' couldn't quite pinpoint the problem. They performed a logical progression of repairs that ultimately resulted in the recommendation that I replace the engine. They suggested the cheaper route of rebuilding the engine and gave me a referral to another shop since they don't perform this type of work.Despite their recommendation that the Subaru still had life I decided to buy a new car. Dorsos' made a few recommendations including Hyundai which I ultimately purchased. Would never even have considered Hyundai if it weren't for Rick and Joe. Very happy with choice and of course I bring it here for service.If you're looking for honesty, excellent customer service and superb repairs in a mechanic, take your car here. Yeah, they're a little more expensive than most but I'm more than happy to support their race car expenses.

We are long time, loyal customers of Dorso's. They are very honest, totally reliable and knowledgeable, and always helpful and friendly. We have referred friends and family to them over the years, also. Another thing I appreciate about Dorso's is that their staff and mechanics are long time employees, and turnover is rare. We can depend on quality work every time we bring one of our cars. When one of our cars is in for an oil change, I walk a block to Suju's for coffee, or Dales Hardware while my car is being serviced. We totally trust Dorso's for all our auto needs.

Dorso's is by far the best repair service in the area. Always on time repair, excellent customer service. Any questions are answered right away and everyone communicates any problems that come along. Would recommend using Dorso's for any car problems.
