Rick Guardino, Owner
Rick has owned Dorso’s Automotive since 1991 and is a Master Technician, Service Consultant and Parts Specialist. Rick was born and raised in Fremont. He started working in the Automotive field while still in High School over 30 years ago. After working for a large independent shop and a GM Dealership he decided it was time to go out on his own and purchased Dorso’s Automotive in 1991. Rick has focused on customer service getting the job done right the first time ever since. Rick tends to spend his free time working on the family race car with his Son Tristan whom has been racing since he was 6 years old.
Joe Amaral
Joe is our very friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful Service Manager. Joe has been a Fremont Resident resident for most of his life and has deep roots in the Tri-City area. Joe brought his 35+ years of Automotive Repair experience to Dorso’s 10 years ago. Joe is always smiling and gives great customer service.
He is an expert in welding and custom exhaust systems. Joe not only brings the wealth of knowledge gained from owning and operating his own automotive business for 20 plus years to the table, but also a unique personality that instantly gives you confidence in what he is talking to you about. Joe enjoys spending time with his huge family including 4 kids and grandkids.
Ramiro Nieves
Ramiro has worked with us for over 10 years now and is ASE Certified. Ramiro has seen the many ups and downs of this industry through his years as a Technician and that helps the every day challenges his faces working on late model vehicles. His experience brings a unique perspective to repairing/servicing vehicles, but also allows him to take issues less personally making his attitude good through even the tough days.
Ramiro is a proud new father and quickly opens his wallet to show any new pictures of his daughter with anyone’s slightest interest.
Lori Small
Lori has been been our office manager here at Dorso’s for over 20 years now. She keeps the office running smoothly as possible and is always in a great mood. Lori enjoys spending her “spare” time volunteering at her Children’s school, cooking and hanging out with her family.
